Can your life change in an hour?

One hour, eleven minutes and thirty five seconds.

I sat staring, out into nothing, and everything inside of me felt warm as a tingle ran through my body and caused me to float away.

And a sort of haunting magic danced in my heart and made my skin cold .




"...and you smile, for a second..."

And as my mind wondered through the music i had this feeling of both calm and anxiety mixed into one as i empathised with the stories entwined in the lyrics.

"If only I'd thought of the right words, I could've held onto your heart"

I thought maybe i would never feel this again... that maybe i had never loved anything this much.

But how can one feel so strongly about an album.

Or maybe i'm not the only one.

And as Lovesong played it was as though the music began to empathise with me instead of the other way around...

"However far away, I will always love you"


... and for a few minutes i didnt feel so alone.


The Disintegration album by the Cure is no doubt the best album ever made.
